We are very happy to announce that we are now launching the selection to the two teams that will represent Kutafin Moscow State Law University in the upcoming 2019 mooting season in the following EU law moot courts:
1) Central and Eastern European Law Moot Court - which promises to be a landmark and a very special event, since for the first time, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, it will be held at the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg itself! The moot problem is to be published in January, memorials are to be submitted in March, and the oral rounds will be held in the beginning of May. The Moot Problem that will be in the centre of our selection process is attached hereto.
The selection will consist of two stages:
1) written stage - you are asked to submit a memorial for either Applicant or Defendant by 23:59 on 10 January 2019 to the three of the following emails: fralice@mail.ru , vitaliy.slepak@gmail.com and pol.kurakina@yandex.ru ;
2) oral stage - you are asked to make an oral presentation (10-15 min) based on your memorials on 12 January 2019 (the time and place will be published here).
Over the course of the last three months we have had the pleasure to work with most of you and would love to see you continue this journey with us, as it is only going to get a lot more exciting, challenging, and most importantly more rewarding!
Hope to see you all at the oral rounds in January, and please do not forget that we'll have another substantial meeting next week, on 22 December, that will be devoted to the problems of migration and refugee crisis in Europe that is destined to help you in preparation of your memorials.
